THE TIGER SLAYER
1 May 2025. Inspired by the story of Wu Song, the tiger slayer, I composed this piece of narrative art depicting a hero confronting a tiger. The tiger was sketched on a larger scale to amplify the impact of the scene. Inspired by the art of Fan Zeng, I decided to add the horseman character Zhong Kui into this piece.

25 April 2025 - Plucking a scene from The Legend of the Condor Heroes novel by Jin Yong, I reimagined the encounter between the seven martial arts masters and a lone figure—renowned for her formidable skills and feared by many, Mei ChaoFeng.

The bronze horse is part of my bronze art collection. Painting it to resemble an antique was a real challenge.
Nevertheless, the end result was deeply satisfying.
Sometimes, I even feel it looks better than my actual bronze sculpture.
