Inspiring Original Paintings & Art Prints by NKH
Ghosts. It is a tale not meant to be told openly, yet it speaks clearly of war, butchery, and the atrocities of WW2. Heads are severed—like the fish, red and bloodied. In the dark zone, the butcher works, where ghosts still roam.
On the brighter yellow side, two fish, in gyotaku style, stare out with fear and anger. A man in yellow stands watching, his patchwork clothing carrying the pain of many.

The ARTQUATICA Pond: Art, Ecology and the Purpose of Ornamental Ponds
More than decoration, a pond is a living system - this book reveals the art and ecology behind its design.
I am a deaf, instinctive artist who believes that art is for everyone. My paintings are guided by intuition and reflection, shaped by how I observe and experience the world. I see art as something that enriches our lives and expands our perspectives, rather than simply a commodity to be bought and sold.
I began my journey not as a painter, but as an ecological pond designer, working closely with nature, observing balance, silence, and the behaviour of living systems.
Being deaf shaped the way I experience the world. I learned to observe deeply - movement, light, form, and the quiet presence of nature that often goes unnoticed.
Painting became a natural extension of this way of seeing. My work is instinctive, not constructed - guided by observation, memory, and an internal rhythm rather than rules. A kind of creative freedom that I enjoy.
Today, my paintings explore wildlife, Asian cultural symbolism, portraits, figurative art, and the connection between nature and human experience. Each piece is a reflection of both the external world and an inner landscape shaped by silence and awareness.
My works are created to be lived with, shared, and enjoyed in everyday spaces.
"I paint, after thinking" is my motto.
